Two site managers working for David Wilson Homes North West have recently been honoured in the prestigious National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards 2012.
James Fera and Chris Brader were both awarded with ‘Pride in the Job’ accolade thanks to the hard work and dedication they have shown on recent projects at David Wilson Homes developments across Chapelford Village, Warrington.
James comments: “I am overjoyed to have won this award and feel so grateful to my hard working team at Lincoln Green, in particular the support I have received from my assistant, Glyn Fazackerley. The quality of our workmanship has been recognised at every stage, from the foundations right through to the interior finish.”
Chris adds: “It’s such a great feeling to be recognised for the work that has gone into Cleveland Place. With 50% of homes now complete, the development offers a range of one-bed semis to five bed detached homes. This site has an incredibly varied street scene and it’s been a pleasure to work as part of such a dedicated team.”
The Pride in the Job Awards are the most coveted in the industry and are awarded after the NHBC carries out a series of spot check site inspections to select the best-organised and the highest quality housing developments across the country.
More than 13,000 site managers throughout the UK were judged upon every aspect of their job, including technical skill, quality workmanship, customer service and site safety. Both James and Chris will now go on to the final round of the competition which aims to find the best site manager in Britain.
Ian Durband, Construction Director at David Wilson Homes North West, concludes:
“The Pride in the Job awards are truly prestigious, so we were absolutely delighted to hear that two of our site managers from the North West region have been recognised out of so many applicants.”
