Project Support
June 17, 2011Three of our sales advisors will be taking on the gruelling challenge of a midnight walk this weekend, to raise money for St. Rocco’s Hospice, Help For Heroes and Cancer Research.
On Friday 17th June, Tracey Cooper from Dakota View, Lisa Seton from Walton Locks, and Sally Barton from Anniston Place, along with two Dakota View residents, Debbie Hall and Diane Clegg, will be walking an exhausting 13 miles to raise money for the deserving charities.
Steve Jackson, our sales director, comments: “These are fantastic charities, which are all very personal to the team, so we are all delighted to offer our support. It definitely sounds like it’s going to be a tough challenge for Tracey, Lisa, Sally, Debbie and Diane, but I’m confident they will conquer it!
“I would like to thank everyone for their generous donations so far and would encourage everyone to give what they can to help.”
St. Rocco’s Hospice, based in Warrington, provides specialist care for patients with cancer and other life threatening illnesses. Help for Heroes raises money to support members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country. Cancer Research works to prevent cancer and help people cope with its effects by providing information for cancer patients and their families, health professionals and the general public.
