Community Impact, North West Community Fund
December 16, 2019We have sponsored a Merseyside youth club, by donating money towards disadvantaged young people in Wirral.
The donation of £1,500 was made through the North West Community Fund community initiative.
Shaftesbury Youth Club is based in Prenton, near to the housebuilder’s Low Hill Gardens development in Upton. The club offers services for disadvantaged young people with sports and recreational activities as well as offering sports facilities.
Janice Monty, CEO of Shaftesbury Youth Club, said, “I would like to thank David Wilson Homes for their kind donation as it is companies such as this who are helping to make a difference in the lives of local young people.”

Lynton Dudgeon, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes, said, “We’re really pleased we could make a donation to Shaftesbury Youth Club. At David Wilson Homes, we feel it’s really important to be putting back into the local community.
“Youth clubs do a tremendous amount of good for the local area and give young people the opportunity to get involved in activities that they otherwise might not have the opportunity to.
“We hope our donation can continue to bring young people in the community together and offer more prospects to those less advantaged.”
