The club was established in 1964 in Northwich. The club boasts eight teams in total, a mix of senior, junior and mini teams.
The donation will contribute towards a new kit for the Northwich RUFC SuperStars, David Wilson Homes is also the major sponsor of this team.
The donation was given through the housebuilder’s North West Community Fund initiatives which aims to give back to communities surrounding the developments.
Eddy Naylor, Northwich RUFC SuperStars Manager, said, “Without the sponsorship from David Wilson Homes, initiatives like Northwich RUFC SuperStars wouldn’t go ahead.
“We are committed at Northwich RUFC SuperStars to provide opportunity for all children, regardless of financial background or social economic status.
“The sponsorship from David Wilson Homes will continue to allow us to provide free rugby sessions for the children. From all of us at Northwich RUFC, we would like to give David Wilson Homes a massive thank you!”
David Wilson Homes is currently building homes nearby to the club at Winnington Village and a number of children on the team have families living at the development.
Robert Holbrook, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes North West, said, “We’re delighted we could support the local Northwich RUFC SuperStars with some brand-new kits.
“It matters a lot to us that we are feeding back into the communities in which we build our developments, especially in organisations like Northwich RUFC as they provide so much energy and unity to the local area.”
