North West Community Fund, Project Support
October 16, 2019£1,500 has been awarded to a group of artists developing creative ways to keep litter off the streets in Cheshire.
Working Title Artists Collective based in Northwich, aims to encourage more people to care for and nurture local community spaces.
With the donation, the organisation plans to run and develop their new project ‘Plastic Imagineers’, transforming collected litter into helpful tools such as brushes to help renovate local community spaces.
The donation was made through the David Wilson Homes’ ‘North West Community Fund’ community initiative, aiming to support community projects and local charities throughout the North West.
Beth Barlow, a member of Working Title Artists Collective, said, “Without donations such as the one provided by David Wilson Homes, we wouldn’t’ be able to develop our exciting new projects.
“It is so important we do all we can to care for our community spaces. The generous donation has allowed us to continue to work tirelessly within the local spaces, creating a better place to live for everyone.”
Lynton Dudgeon, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes North West, said: “We are delighted to be able to support the local Working Title Artists Collectives with a donation.
“We hope that the funding helps not just the organisation but also the thriving communities living locally to our developments.”
