The funding will go towards five key areas the hospital is currently working hard to support. These include the Sunshine Fund, children’s care, maternity, dementia and cancer wards.
Ashley Flint, Charity Fundraising Manager at Southport and Ormskirk Hospitals Charity, said: “The crucial support from Barratt and David Wilson Homes really will help save lives and support the well-being of our remarkable team here at Southport and Ormskirk hospitals.
“Vital support like this helps priority areas including: cancer care; children’s and maternity; older people and dementia and our Sunshine Fund for projects of the greatest need. Everyone at the Trust is really touched by this kind support at a critical time for the NHS and for all of us.”
