Award-winning, five star homebuilders, Jones Homes and David Wilson Homes, are coming together for the first time to deliver a fantastic new residential development, known as Bollin Park, on Adlington Road in Wilmslow.
The site, which is 24 acres in size, was originally purchased by Jones Homes. A partnership with David Wilson Homes followed, with both housebuilders sharing the same philosophy and desire to provide a sophisticated development in a much sought-after location.
Planning consent has been secured by the housebuilders for a total of 204 properties; 106 to be built by Jones Homes and 98 to be built by David Wilson Homes.
In addition to the development itself, the housebuilders have both made a significant financial investment to the benefit of the immediate locality, worth more than £1 million. This includes an educational contribution of £425K to support local schools maintain their buildings, a sum of £143K for recreational and outdoor sports facilities, such as new football pitches and playing fields close to the site, and £350K has been provided to improve the public footpath, cycle route and green open space at Bollin Park.
In response to the community consultation, Jones Homes and David Wilson Homes will also introduce a new footpath along Adlington Road where there isn’t one currently, as well as widen the current footpath in some parts as a safety measure.
Catering for the needs of local buyers, Bollin Park will provide much needed homes in Wilmslow, offering a mix of one, two, three, four, five and even six bedroom properties.
