Highfield Grange fc scores a new kits thanks to Barratt homes north west

Barratt Homes North West has sponsored an under 16s football team – Highfield Grange in Wigan, after they secured funding from the company’s community initiative scheme ‘North West Community Fund.’.

Highfield Grange is an under 16s community football club which practises weekly at the Powerleague Soccerdome Wigan on Stadium Way.

Steve Jones (49), Manager and Coach of Highfield Grange said, “I have been running the team since they were seven years old and now they are coming on 16. It has been great to see their progress not just as footballers but growing from lads to young adults. They are a great credit to themselves and their parents.

“I would like to thank Barratt Homes North West for providing a quality kit for a Highfield Grange and I know that the players all appreciate it. There is a lot said about teenagers these days and one thing that does interest them and provides a great ‘feel good factor’ is playing football. Looking good to a bunch of 16 year olds is important to them as well!”

Steve Jackson, Sales Director at Barratt Homes North West said, “It is important to support local teams and encourage young people to become actively involved in sport. I hope that the Highfield Grange team will feel proud to represent their town in the new kit.”
