Going green with Fleetwood charity

We recently partnered with Refurb (Wyre & Fylde) Ltd, an award-winning Fleetwood based charity which works to minimise and reuse furniture going to landfill sites.

Refurb (Wyre & Fylde) Ltd reuses over 20 tonnes of waste per month and is predominately staffed by volunteers. The company also aims to encourage enterprise and community participation, whilst also supporting its volunteers in achieving their NVQs in Warehousing, Business Administration and Customer Services.

Our donation will allow the organisation to purchase a new computer to help train new and existing volunteers in their qualifications. The computer will also enable Refurb’s operation to work more effectively and efficiently, and consequently recycle more waste.
