David Wilson Homes North West has supported local group – SUEvivor – through its community initiative ‘North West Community Fund’ by donating a laptop computer.
Founded by stroke survivor Susan Lever, SUEvivor helps to support other stroke survivors, carers, families and friends of those who have suffered a stroke across
The donation to SUEvivor will allow them to provide additional online support to those individuals who are not able to visit the group as they are isolated at home. Via Skype, they can provide one on one advice, ensuring that individuals know they are not alone and that they can reach out for peer support and understanding.
The company has worked on a number of projects with schools, charities and community groups, a few include: Liverpool’s Alder Hey Children’s Charity, Tarporley Church of England Primary School, Elworth Hall Primary and The Wingate Special Children’s Trust.
Since launching ‘North West Community Fund’ successful applicants have been able to transform a number of local community projects by: improving local facilities, offering specialist sporting lessons for the disabled, kitting out the under 15s local football team, providing much needed veterinary equipment for the local animals as well as much more.

“The laptop which we were able to purchase has helped support us and changed greatly how we are able to function as a group. Most of all it has widened our reach to individuals and the support and services we can offer, we will never be able to thank David Wilson North West enough.”
