Project Support
July 6, 2011We recently undertook a project with the Friends of Bruche Park initiative in Warrington, to support its work in improving the environment, safety and aesthetics of the park for all to enjoy.
The Friends of Bruche Park is a community group made up of local volunteers to help to enhance the park for the benefit of all those who use it.
Our support will help the organisation to thin the overgrown woodlands to make the area safer for parents and children, aid in the environmental education programme with local schools by cleaning up Padgate brook and improve the main entrance to the park.
Two members of our team, Angelina Riley and Jo Chesters, will also soon be getting their hands dirty when they volunteer to help out on the project.
Paul Blair, of Friends of Bruche Park, comments: “We would like to thank David Wilson Homes North West for helping to support our project, particularly Angelina and Jo for their hard work.
“The donation will not only help us to improve the park’s physical attributes, but it will also offer the residents a safe and welcoming place to visit, as well as improve local environmental education and green projects. I’d like to thank David Wilson Homes North West once again and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.”
Graham Swann, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes North West, adds: “Here at David Wilson Homes North West we are always keen to support projects which work to improve the local environments and offer a genuine benefit for local residents. We wish the team every success in their project and look forward to seeing the park develop.”
