Creating a community camp

Community camp: We recently supported the 2nd Cleveleys (St Andrew’s) Scout Group, helping the club to purchase essential camping equipment.

The 2nd Cleveleys (St Andrews) Scout Group provides young people in Thornton-Cleveleys with the opportunity to learn scouting skills, such as camping, survival and cooking, as well as offering them the chance to take part in a wide range of adventurous activities.

Our support will enable the Scout Group to purchase a new Mess Tent after their former tent was damaged.

Steve Faill, Group Chairman of 2nd Cleveleys Scout Group, comments: “We were thrilled to hear that the team at David Wilson Homes North West were happy to support our Group.

“It’s fantastic that we are now able to purchase a Mess Tent, as it will be such an important item for our camping trips. The whole group is now very excited about using it on our next adventure.
