Project Support
October 12, 2012David Wilson Homes North West is delighted to announce the launch of its 2012 North West Community Fund Christmas charity campaign.
Following on from last year’s highly successful teddy bear amnesty, in aid of the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, which saw several hundred toys donated, the Cheshire based housebuilder is now partnering with two North West charities, Network Foodbank Warrington and The Ashley Foundation, which provide food packages for local people in need.
David Wilson Homes is therefore calling on the general public to donate non-perishable food items, such as long life milk, pasta and tinned fruit, to its developments across the region in support of these two worthy causes.
Steve Jackson, sales director for David Wilson Homes North West, comments: “The North West Community Fund scheme is committed to improving local communities across the region. Through our Christmas campaign we are hoping to make a significant difference to local people’s lives and would like to thank people in advance for their generosity.”
Network Foodbank Warrington provides emergency food for local people in crisis and The Ashley Foundation helps homeless people in need with support and accommodation and is based in Lancashire.
Donations are being received now at David Wilson Homes’ Sales Centres and will continue to be collected until Friday 14 December, before being delivered to the charities in time for Christmas. To find your nearest David Wilson Homes sales office please telephone 0844 8113366 or visit www.dwh.co.uk
