Project Support
July 12, 2011Continuing our support of The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT), we recently hosted a Family Fun Day at Appleton Thorn. The fundraising event was a great success, raising a massive £1,456.
Graham Swann, managing director at David Wilson Homes North West, comments: “We always try to support CAFT as much as possible, so it gave us great pleasure to host a Family Fun Day for the charity.
“The day was a real team effort from everyone on board, and I’d like to say a special thank you to all those involved, particularly to the Engagement Committee and their helpers who worked so hard to ensure the success of the Fun Day.”
In addition to the £1,456 raised from the Family Fun Day, we have also raised a further £7,870 from the Coast-to-Coast bike ride, completed by Steve Jackson, 3 Peaks Challenge, achieved by Dave Brackley and Mark Cox, and various ‘Dress Down Days’, making a grand total £9,326!
Graham concludes: “All our fundraising efforts for CAFT have proved successful so far, and I look forward to hosting more activities like this with CAFT in the future.”
The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) is a local organisation which works tirelessly to help terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children in the North West.
