July 20, 2012After becoming proud sponsor of the Airbus UK Broughton Football Club Academy Under 16s in October 2011, David Wilson Homes North West is pleased to announce that after a tense final match, the team have been crowned Football Association of Wales Premier League Academy Champions of Wales with a 2-1 win against Neath FC.
It is the second cup win of the season for the ‘Wingmakers’, who also claimed the inaugural‘Airbus in the Community Cup’ competition at the start of the campaign.
Dave Riley, Airbus UK Broughton Football Club Football in the Community Coach and Under 16s Coach, comments: “The boys have worked incredibly hard this year, on and off the field, with GCSE exams too but have done their homework and this is their reward. It was good to see that the boys’ achievement was recognised too on television and extensively in the press this year”.
