Barratt Homes North West has donated £500 towards raised flower, fruit and vegetable beds which will allow disabled access to Alsager Gardens Association in Stoke-on-Trent.
The raised beds are being built across two gardens specifically to allow easy access for local people in the area with disabilities, as the height means the garden can become a sensory experience for all who visit.
Steve Jackson, Sales Director at Barratt Homes North West said, “We are very pleased to have been able to donate this money to Alsager Gardens Association. It is imperative that people of all ages and abilities are able to enjoy the outdoors and with these new flower beds we hope that many of the disabled residents in the area will enjoy them.”
Keith Biggs, who has worked as the Secretary for The Alsager Gardens Association for the past six years said, “We are very grateful to Barratt Homes for their contribution towards the flower beds. This is not the first time we have worked with Barratt Homes and it is great to be able to form a working relationship over something that will mean so much to the local community.”
Barratt Homes North West is currently building at Lloyd Mews in Alsager. A range of one, two, three and four bedroom homes will be available from £109,995.
