A park for all to enjoy

We recently supported the Silverdale Community Country Park to help improve the aesthetics of the park for all to enjoy.

The Silverdale Community Country Park, owned by The Land Trust and managed by Groundwork West Midlands, offers 87 Hectares of natural parkland on the site of the former Silverdale Colliery. The area incorporates a variety of features for all the family to enjoy, including play and picnic area.

Our support will enable the Ranger, Andrew Hunt, to buy and install ten ‘boulders’ for the local community to use as a seating area.

Andrew, comments: “We were absolutely thrilled when we found out David Wilson Homes North West were offering us this fantastic donation.

“The new boulders will provide a comfortable seating area for everyone to sit back, relax and enjoy the picturesque views that the park has to offer, and will also hopefully encourage more residents to visit.

“I’d just like to say a huge thank you to David Wilson Homes North West for their generous donation.”
